Ellen,
My apologies if you were expecting a new diet revelation! Indeed, I do not have any to offer.
My point was that women over 50 (or anyone for that matter) need to take charge of their diet and remain accountable for their weight. You can’t blame being overweight on your age or your genes or your glands… it’s a matter of eating less and exercising more that will take the weight off, period!

Ms. Beebe is a Registerd Dietitian and should be presented as such to the public.

Anyone, a n y o n e can proclaim to be a diet coach, whereas an RD (and Ms Beebe, an an MS, RD) has very specific expertise–advanced training and education.

Put succintly, she holds the distinction of a Registerd Dietitian.
