Our Haiti Releif Efforts

Update 2/1/2010: Although we weren’t able to raise a tremendous amount of money, I would like to thank everyone who participated in our program.  We will be dividing and donating $153.00.

With the devastation that struck Haiti on January 12th, we are doing everything we can to help.  From now until Jan. 31 (or longer if needed), we will be donating 100% of the commissions made from some of the reviews on our website.

We will make our donations to the following organizations:

Yele Haiti – Yéle Haiti is a grassroots movement that builds global awareness for Haiti while helping to transform the country through programs in education, sports, the arts and environment. Yéle’s community service programs include food distribution and mobilizing emergency relief. Grammy-Award winning musician, humanitarian and Goodwill Ambassador to Haiti Wyclef Jean founded Yéle Haiti in 2005.

American Red Cross International Response Fund – You can help the victims of countless crises, like the recent earthquake in Haiti, around the world each year by making a financial gift to the American Red Cross International Response Fund, which will provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need. The American Red Cross honors donor intent. If you wish to designate your donation to a specific disaster, please do so at the time of your donation by mailing your donation with the designation to the American Red Cross, P.O. Box 37243, Washington, D.C. 20013 or to your local American Red Cross chapter. Donations to the International Response Fund can be made by phone at 1-800-REDCROSS or 1-800-257-7575 (Spanish) or online at www.redcross.org.

TOTAL RAISED SO FAR: $153.00 (Updated Daily)

Diets Eligible For Our Relief Efforts:

Our web developers will continue to add diets that they are able to generate tracking for.  I’ve been touched by this experience having a 2 year old daughter and a family of my own.  I urge any and everyone to do you part to help your fellow man and women in their time of need. Even if you aren’t looking to buy or start a diet, please visit YeleHaiti or the American Red Cross to donate.
